Marketing in Ireland community

THE COMMUNITY

Marketing in Ireland was founded with the purpose of becoming a community for immigrants who are students and marketing professionals seeking career success in Ireland.

Stay in the know

Through the Marketing in Ireland platform, members of the community can access free content, a schedule of meetings/events in person and online, and a space for everyone to feel safe and welcome.

You’ll also find a space that promotes the exchange of ideas and experiences.

We recently signed a partnership with Linkedin to organise some events in their building.

Who makes things happen around here

The community has an intern and an incredible team of volunteers to keep the project running smoothly.

If you want to gain experience in the field or improve your skills, join our team. Whenever new vacancies open up, we’ll publicise the details on the community platform.

Help this project

To maintain all the free benefits for members, the project generates fixed monthly costs such as:
Hired social media, community platforms such as RD station, Circle, Riverside.fm, Canva PRO and many hours of work invested.

With 1 cup of coffee from €5 you can help us!

CAMILLA ODILON

FOTO DE CAMILLA ODILON

With more than 8 years’ experience in digital marketing, Camilla Odilon is a marketing manager and teaches digital marketing in postgraduate courses at a number of universities in Brazil.
She is currently marketing manager at an Irish company.
When she arrived in Ireland on 25 January 2020, she didn’t speak any English, didn’t understand the process of how to get a job in marketing and was faced with the start of the coronavirus pandemic a month and a half after setting foot on the island.
The reason she created the Marketing in Ireland community was because she arrived as an English student, worked as a cleaner before getting a job in the field and found no support community to help her, so she decided to create this project to help everyone who came after her.
